Laser hair removal works by targeting hair follicles with concentrated light energy. The pigment (melanin) in the hair absorbs the laser's energy, which then damages the hair follicle, inhibiting future hair growth. Multiple sessions are typically required because hair growsin cycles, and the laser is most effective during the active growth phase.

You may notice reduced hair growth after the first session, but it usually takes multiple treatments (typically 6 sessions) to see significant and lasting results. Hair growth becomes thinner and lighter with each treatment, and full results are typically visible after completing the full series of treatments.

There is little to no downtime after laser hair removal. You might experience slight redness or swelling in the treated area, which usually subsides within a few hours to a day. It’s important to avoid sun exposure and use sunscreen on the treated area to protect your skin after the treatment.
